I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I am learning that with a baby, some things get put on the back burner. Anna Marie is doing good and growing too. She is up to 9lb 7oz and almost 21 ½ inches long. She is so active now. She has the most beautiful smile and she is trying so hard to talk to us. I’ve posted some newer pictures of her.
It’s amazing how a child will change your life. She is the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I think about when I lay my head down at night. When I am at work during the day, I long so bad to be at home with Laura and Anna and spending time with my girls.
This time of year everyone tells what all they are thankful for and I am no different, because I have A LOT to be thankful for. So here it goes…
- I am thankful to be alive and to have been given more time on this earth.
- I am so thankful to serve an amazing and awesome God!!
- I am thankful to have such a beautiful and wonderful wife who is my best friend. She knows what to do when I am down and how to make me smile. I love her so much! I can’t imagine my life without her in it.
- I am thankful for my beautiful daughter, Anna Marie Smith. I can’t remember what my life was like without her.
- I am thankful for great parents. They just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They have taught me what true love really is and also have been great examples of how to be a parent. I couldn’t have asked for better. Plus, they are a great Nanny and Pa to Anna.
- I have great in-laws. They raised my wife to be such loving and caring woman. They are also celebrating their 30th anniversary in February. They are a great meemaw and pawpaw to Anna.
- I am thankful for Tara, Jason, Andrea, Chris, and Leslie. Anna is blessed with great aunts and uncles. Laura and I are blessed with great brothers and sisters.
- I am thankful for my grandparents. My Nanaw and Papaw have been the only grandparents that I have known and I am very thankful to have them. I am also thankful for grandma Dyer, who has accepted me into her family. This time of year, I miss grandma and grandpa Smith, grandma and grandpa Coleman, and grandma and grandpa Geurin. Love you all!
- I am thankful for all of my family. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. I owe a lot of what I am to the examples that you have set for me. This also includes my aunts and uncles on Laura's side too. Thank you for accepting me and loving me.
- I am thankful to have great friends! Its not until you go through a rough spot in you life that you realize that not all friends will “stick by you”.
- If you are reading this and don’t fall under any of these categories, thank you! Thank you for being part of my life!!!
